If people would like to contact you, how would you like to be contacted?

People can contact me through my email, brett@thebrett.com and can see my
stuff at www.thebrett.com

What type of tools or media do you use?

The usual stuff. Pencil, pen, tablet, photoshop, illustrator.

Where is the place you would like to work or be an Intern if you had a
choice?

Nickelodeon is at the top of the list, along with Pixar. I'd love to
produce my own short or series at Nelvana, where I currently work.

Who do you think are the top character designers out there?

The top guys, in my opinion are Steve Lambe, Genndy, Craig McCracken.
Also, though he's not really a 'character desgner', Ashley Wood is
phenomenal.

What are some of your favorite character designs which you have seen?

I've liked the look of Open Season since the get-go. Finally it seems
like the 'trying to be photo-real' thing is running out of steam and we're
getting back to the idea that these are cartoons, not live-action
wannabees.

El Tigre with Nick has a damn nice look to it too.

What is your most favorite subject to draw? And why?

Aside from the ladies, cause they're ladies ... I'd say people with
swords. Lots of Samurai Jack and Warcraft II (yes 2) influence on my art
over the years.

What inspired you to become an Artist?

The desire to do something with my life where if I was taken out and
replaced with someone else, it would be done completely differently. Not
to be just a cog in the machine I suppose.
